Isfield 50kW

NWT Solar, based in East Sussex, has completed a 50kWp installation at Whartons Farm. NWT Solar provides pictures of the installation, which comprises 244x205W Evergreen polycrystalline panels and 5 SMA Tripower inverters.

Generating over 40,000 kWh each year, the system is likely to save the CO2 emissions equivalent of fifteen three-bedroom houses. Inspired by the Feed-in Tariff, Wharton’s Farm installed a 5okWp Solar PV array on their roof. Interested in going ‘green’ and supplying a significant amount of electricity from their own generator, owners are also rewarded for every kilowatt hour of energy they produce, with an additional bonus for the electricity they sell on.
