Haywards Heath 50kW

Holmbush Farm is a very successful dairy farm in the heart of rural West Sussex. The client was extremely interested in utilising the buildings on the estate for a solar installation and benefit from reduced electricity costs and the payback from the Government-backed Feed-in Tariff (FIT).

The completed 50kWp installation comprises 212 panels 240W REC polycrystalline panels and 2 Power-One Trio inverters and is expected to generate an income of approximately £17,000 per annum and saving over 23 tonnes of carbon each year.

“Initially I was a little apprehensive about whom I was going to get to do the installation: this is a very new industry in the UK and proven track records of reliable installers are hard to find, so I turned to local company NWT Solar who operates locally and following a successful initial meeting we decided to move the project forward.”  Charles Burgoyne
